1959 Liberia. Just sharing some pictures

Picked up this interesting Liberia locally a few days ago.

Frame is straight, patina looks great. Big frame but I just couldn't pass it up.

Looks like a nice project. Some really nice details going on.
What's the plan for this one?

Thanks! I really like the frame details, color combination, and overall vibe.

My current plan is swap some wheels from another project and see how it fits. If it does i'll try my best to stick with a mostly French, mostly period correct build.

I will post more images and hope that somebody could guide me on the proper path with the restoration.
 
Does it have French threadings etc. or have they been 'anglicised' for the US market?

I really have no idea, though I assume it hasn't been worked over much.

A few more pictures attached, including serial number, pump braze on, and ugly side view showing the (superficially) pitted top tube.

Crank (driveside) is Stronglight with TA rings.

Quite a while since i saw a brazed on pump peg for a push on 'Campag' pump conection not one of their "race frames as it's sporting MG eyes

That frame is beautiful, its prime for a nice set of Honjo's like this :D .
