Sturmey Archer. New Question Page 2.

Re: Sturmey Archer Questions. That was (still is) in near perfect original condition. Not bad for a bike that is about 40 years old! And that is another thing, they are pretty robust but can have age related issues, the front suspension bushes can wear which will play havoc with the steering...

Sturmey Archer. New Question Page 2.

Re: Sturmey Archer Questions. That's right - quite a nifty design. The Sturmey drum then (as now) does not want to be oiled - although if you did you would probably not make the S3B any worse than it was. One of my old (now sold) Mk3's, you can see how the drum brake was held.

    Canti or V-brake adapter

Yeah, to this page! If I want to complain that this person is using a picture I deliberately chose not post openly, I will thanks. You can do what you want.

    Canti or V-brake adapter

It's not from a Google search though, it is nicked from a private Yahoo group and it clearly reads as if it is the bike he is rebuilding.

    Canti or V-brake adapter

That is becasue he has nicked that picture from my posting on the Moulton Yahoo group page and is using it without permission. I'm not impressed.
