How about a dictionary, you can't be Elite unless you can spell elitism properly, it's how we weed out the hoi polloi and Jonny foreigner from joining the club. Ra ra ra, we're going to smash the oiks and all that, eh what!
29er's I know its not retro, but they've been around for yonks, now all of a sudden, if you're not going to ride FS then it can only be a 29er, what the hell is wrong with a regular 26er that we have had no problem with for... 20-30 years.

my biggest retro hate is bloody thumbies
never have got on with them and still dont so wont even try anymore
o and flights
would add the usual list of top end exotica on here like fat/indy etc but if i had the money i would have one
will prob never own another gt tho but not sure why???

I can ride pretty much anything, but have a love for things a bit more exclusive. Doesn't have to be expensive, but it can't be the stuff that everyone else has. Hence the Pinarello and Look bikes (and Casati roadbike).
There has been stuff I've always hated. For example Cannondale's, Trek's, etc. Yet I have an old Cannondale and have just purchased a Trek. Both are just frames, but I rode the Cannondale (black with neon splatter paint job) for years, until the BB fell out. A very harsh ride but good for flat Holland. The Trek I only bought because of the neon paint job. And I really dislike Treks.
Seriously, I could ride just about anything as long as it comes in neon colours.
But, to get back to the point. I've never liked Giants (except cadex), and will never own one.
