Your biggest overspend

a simple frame swap has panned out to be everything apart form a new rear mech for me

worst part is that a few of the parts are going to be swapped out when funds allow for the bits i really want!

you should never ever have a budget

hence i never have a problem...though my cheapest bike cost £400 and the most expensive £7,000

overspend £890

TK - I withdraw everything I ever said about your Dundonian attributes :D

Budget? Project? Never really think about it - although I've no spare cash so maybe I should.............

Spent £200 on a seatpost last month. About 4x my original plan but I talked myself into it. Very happy i am with it too.

bought my scott endorphin back last year and was going to just pop the original kit back on it......still had it all too.....but zipps and carbon and more xtr and titanium etc etc etc.....well,well, into four figures

After I get the frame I want, I don't stick to a budget. I try to build it right or as "right" as I can.

Let's get married in Jamaica, we'll only have to pay for the honeymoon!
+ rings
+ dress
+ photos
+ suit
+ party
+ a million other little bits and bobs

No XTR to show for it.

But some happy memories

I threw about £100 at my GT, which is probably stupid considering it still needs wheels, drivertrain, saddle, seat post.... and is worth about 50p
