A bus driver in Bristol was sacked, and subsequently sent to prison for deliberately driving into a cyclist (with his bus), who had annoyed him.

I had a bus driver drive into me deliberately in Oxford a couple of years ago. The police refused to take a statement because "it would be my word against his".

It was all caught on the bus' CCTV - the bus company paid for the damage to the bike and the guy who was dealing with the claim said he saw the footage and was shocked.

Still, if the police won't take action, what can you do? :roll:

If you have CCTV footage and they won't take action, file an official complaint.
If that fails, make sure you have more firepower than they do.

Subject Access Request, then take the footage to the Police.

If you[just generalising] saw the earlier footage it shows cyclists surrounding his car banging on the bonnet and screaming abuse at him.
Just because its a rally does not mean you can act like an arsehole.Sure start screaming because he's sat in a car honking his horn a little trying to edge through trying to get to his work/home/hospital/shop etc who knows.

Instead of parting the way and waving him slowly through the shit fukc element turns into some sort of anti car vigilante and starts grieving the driver.
Nobody of course could have known about the drivers mental state,nobody asked him they just started to terrorise him for being a driver or having a car.

Now lets not have any because i try to point out a few facts i dont consider this a terrible action.But lets be honest,at this time the driver was in complete mental breakdown.

Over here i often ride with my Go Pro mounted, there seems a large bunch who think it fun to scare cyclists. if i catch them at lights i pull up and pint at camera and watch colour drain from their faces
