Workshop/Workspace... Show us yours!

This is my current chaos, however this is the most space I've had in years and years. We moved just before Christmas into another total renovation project, garage included! This space is a deadly combo of failing prefab concrete and asbestos roof. It leaks like a sieve and is as damp as squid. However I actually have some visible floor space we never had in our last garage! It will be knocked down once we sort out what we're doing and replaced with something proper! 💪

All the bail arm crate are on dollies so I can move them. The pillar drill, bandsaw and other big bits of machinery hidden away are all on castors so I can move them and try to use them...

First time in years I've had bikes hanging up! Still have x3 out the garden mind! And another load at my parents garage 🤣

Old bench was left behind by previous owner and is currently holding one of the concrete sections together!

Another wooden shed insulation question, once you've cut or rolled out your insulation and put it in the gap between the studs what cheap options (if any) are there to cover these, old pallets, tongue and groove etc 🤔

I'm in the process of building a new, insulated shed. If your shed is nice and dry then plasterboard is cheap. I clad one of the walls with old pallets, which I actually bought broken down into planks and de-nailed for less than the price of plasterboard. If you're using rigid insulation and cut it tight to size then you won't actually need to cover it, unless you want to for aesthetics.

It's an 8 x 6 summer house where I sit and ponder on a comfy chair with a cuppa, so aesthetics important. It does seem to get a fair bit of condensation.

I like the idea of a mash up of old pallets 😃

Got any pictures ?

I’ll try and get a decent pic tomorrow. It’s still a work in progress.
