Just seems pointless having that black block on the sidewall. Might as well not bother.

Good points raised about the rideability of these. It's going to be a very niche market for show queens, and even then only certain bikes will pull it off. For some reason the Porcs were never a tyre I ever rode and I don't know why.

Its kinda crazy to think they weigh a kilo each - I think the 26 inch Schwalbe Fat Frank weighs 800g. Didn't vintage non-folding tires weigh around 600g each?

Yes - just under 600g IIRC.

It must be heavy cheap steel to keep price down or you would put lightest possible in wouldn't you

hopefully it is just a prototype issue that will improve in the final version.
