Current do it all bike. Commute, hit the north shore trails, go bike camping.
mix of XTR, XT, LX stuff.
25lbs total
2.35 rear, 2.4 front tires.. good workout, pneumatic suspension comfort.
I also take my wife's Marin Larkspur to work on very rainy days.
10kms each way.

while im at my parents and have use of internet thought id post up what im peddling to/from work on now.
not retro, nothing special, rather shite but its doing the job and doing it surprisingly well. halfords special apollo phaze 22 inch frame, front and rear disc "brakes", 21 speed with gripshift (already been changed to better gripshifts), its doing the mahoosive 4 mile round trip each day well :roll: only use it because i really cant justify getting the car on the road on days when im only going to be in the office and not doing call outs etc
im still building my raleigh rsp up so its not staying long lol

This is what I ride to work each day. A specialized rockhopper I got for 75CDN. Its my beater that has fenders for rainy days and isnt mint so its not going to get stolen.

I love this bike, and it all happened by accident really - given the bike by someone who didn't want it, needed parts so chucked in shed.
My dad needed a bike so used it for two years and I ended back with it after I sold my (completely soul less) Giant XTC.
Only meant to use it until I got a new bike but now I won't part with it - nice 'n' basic, super light and super fast.
Would really like to give this a resto
