@grantoury Is that just an added extension or did you weld the rear bit.

It was a kit by Xtracycle. It bolts into the rear fork. The Surly big Dummy was based on that geometry. They are no longer available.

As far as I know, they still make Big Dummies.

This is my latest commuter bike. 1997 Trek 730, the "Trekking" version (Trek would make a special Multitrack version for Europe with useful stuff like mudguards, dynamo lights, kickstand, etc. and call it Trekking instead, at least on the 750 and 730 models. No sign of them in the catalogues. Bracket in the top tube is for the U-lock.
