Work bikes

Koga traveller. Original 3x7 lx shifters and biopace rings are gone now. In favor of microshift 1x9 with clutched mech. Easier and more accurate shifting. More modern wider cheap flatbar. Fitted LED lights front and rear on the original bracket mounted wheel dynamo, cable operated behind the seattube. 30c tires, new fenders etc. Some parts bin and some china parts😅

Frame is rock solid and can still go round the world if i'd want to. Although i would upgrade some parts to do that.

Gets you to the shops, work and pretty much everywhere else. And its pretty quick.

My Claud Butler Virago gave up the ghost a few weeks ago when the frame cracked at the seatpost after 15 years and probably about 18k with minimal maintenance. Still, it cost me £10 in the first place. Now picked up this Giant ATX 860 for £50 and moved the bits over for my favoured setup - single chainring, 7 speed. It's a fair bit faster and lighter than the old one. New Bike.jpg
