Will driverless cars remove two wheels from the road?

Like it or not, there will be more people with less money in the future.

With the price of fuel inevitably rising, expect cycling to become a more and more attractive proposition.

So no chance. :)

There is a current discussion within the car / technology industries wrestling with the problem of who to save when a crash becomes inevitable.

Apparently Mercedes have chosen to protect the driver.

I assume BMW and Audi will follow that lead and so in the end we will not be able to tell the driverless cars from those with drivers.

Interesting point. No doubt the Audi/BMW ones will be preprogrammed to drive like a selfish cock  Cyclists will be too busy at home with their robot sax slaves to care about riding anything else. They will still have an antique Dolomite Klein converted into a coffee table. Ivan just see the Antiques Riad Show now. Elderly people bringing in a DCD dug up from their yard, looking for identification.
