Au contraire. It is a proud, proud day for Scots, Scottish Tories and the union.

As for Corbyn, I think you overstate his position. This was May's to lose, and she just about managed it.

She hasn't lost though. She won more seats and more votes than anyone else. Not enough to form a government, but that's another matter.

What she did lose was face (and lots of it).

And in spite of what Corbyn just suggested, Labour certainly didn't win.

Smelly wee Sturgeon now whoring herself to grandpa Corbyn and anyone else who'll have her.

Bolt hen.

About sums it up. Only in British politics can the party that won with nearly 50 mps more, be painted as the losers and the party that lost and came second for the third election in a row, be painted as the winners.

The benefit of this maybe that she still goes into Brexit determined but a bit more humble. Sturgeon needed a good political kick in and rather than be embarrassed to be Scottish, they should be proud. They could finally see that the snp are little more than the Scottish ukip and were ruining their country whilst in charge. The snp will never succeed with either salmon or sturgeon so I say well done the Scots.
