And my old manor East Ren returns to its rightful blue at long last. Red since 97, yellow last time around.

My Maw's done her bit. :)

This is a beautiful thing.

Seems I'm talking to myself but so what...

Strong word that Salmond's gone. It's a beautiful beautiful thing.

Who cares about Labour/Tory when the SNP are taking an absolute reaming.

Traditionally the early results favour Labour and the Tories take the later ones but I have to say, they are doing far better than most including myself expected.

I'm glad the snp are getting a good kick in, they were warned Sturgeon and Salmon were turning people against the party, even more so with indi 2

Re:

Fair play Techno.

Tories performed well in Scotland. I mentioned they would in an independent Scotland, which the electorate reacted to as if it were.

Big shock to the south Tories though.

What now?

Who knows. May's a dead duck, clearly.

It's inexplicable. I kind of feel sorry for her a bit, she's not a natural performer but I think she was quite genuine. Corbyn is a rabble rouser and has taken advantage. She misjudged the mood, the promises of free everything and she overstated Brexit, which people must see as done.

But I'd rather have a Corbyn government than an independent Scotland so whatever happens I'm happy.

Salmond going is the icing on a very sweet cake.

Re:

By any measure an amazing result for Labour and Corbyn in particular - against a vitriolic campaign of disinformation and discreditation by the ring wing media moguls. It's heartening to see their power diminished. The same election result pre-social media would have had a different result I should imagine and who knows what the result would have been without the outright propaganda from The Sun, Daily Mail, Express et al.

I think May's position is untenable, but who to replace her, surely not Boris!

I would be embarrassed to be Scottish this morning.

Unelectable? - my arse!

Yep very happy. I said it a few posts ago but there is proof now Corbyn has transformed the Labour party and gave it direction for the future.

Things are going to be complicated for a while though!

Also I am enjoying the "Blairites" looking completely daft/selfish.

Totally! :)

To lose one prime minister to a completely unnecessary vote is careless. To lose two is idiocy.
