Who still makes a 400mm+ alloy seatpost with setback?

Re:

Cannondale make some really nice finishing kit, its always plain looking but really nicely made.

Im pretty sure they do a 400mm long post.

Any of the 'C' range stuff is good with C1 being the best.

The stems are particularly nice, iv got a C1 and a C2 stem on my bikes, compare the weights of the C1 stuff to stems costing several times more and i cant see how spending more would offer any benefit.

I did look on the Cannondale site yesterday - the C3 post looks ok but is only listed in 300mm.
Availability of their stuff is generally spotty here, and even Cannondale dealers rarely have components from that brand in stock.

i've got a few old Easton poles that are really good, they still make the EA50 (10mm offset) and EA70 (20mm) offset.(but both are only 350mm long)
I also have a nukeproof seatpole that has been really good for years, but that has zero offset, recently replaced with Thompson setback (which I still haven't ridden on)...have 2 Thompsons, I hate the way the mount (whatever you call it) works, much prefer the NProof.
However there is also COntrol Tech, they do setbacks and their stuff is cheap->$$$$ and I think whoever makes their stuff also made the old NP poles as they were exactly the same, bar the branding, they come in depending on the version, 10 and 20mm setback and 350, 400, 410mm length

You need a longer than usual post and are adamant it have set back.
You sure your frame fits you?
Considering I rode it daily for over a decade, yes. It's the Cannondale in my signature, I've owned it from new.
The peculiarities of that particular frameset are that it has a long top-tube (54cm ctc), but a very very short seat tube (41cm ctt) coupled with a high (13") BB clearance. Means I need a 400mm 'post.
Last time it was set up I was 28 years old, I had a 130mm stem and straight post on it, with super-narrow cut-down flat bars, on fast slicks.
I want to revise the fit of a favourite old frame for the 39-year-old me utilising wider bars, a shorter stem and more weight over the rear wheel. Knobbly tyres to boot.
Hence, I need a setback 400mm post.

How about a USE Sumo in alloy or carbon, 400mm long with 30mm setback or 10mm. I have both setback options and have been really satisfied with them. Weigh in around 240g, the seat mount needs plenty of grease and they are very comfy. leisure lakes have some in stock

Second the USE Sumo

Really very nicely made and British too. I rode the alloy Sumo 400mm for several years then bought a Carbon too. A drawback is that compatibility with diferent rails formats means buying additional clamp parts.

Enjoy!!

Thanks very much for the USE tip, I had no idea they were still going. If the Alien came in 400mm I'd order it tomorrow, so iconic!
The Sumo looks really good, I wonder how easy it is to remove the graphics from the Carbon version?
