1992 Specialized Stumpjumper. Found mostly stock (except for tires and sticky grips). Converted to "dad's bike" for when we visit the in-laws.

I like that:
-it's one of the few if not the only Stumpjumper with eyelets for racks
-the original catalogue said it could accommodate 2.5" tires. Not so sure about that, but it can accept 2.25" tires and mudguards easily, not bad for an early 90's bike...

Spec had their own 2.5" tyre, the Ground Control More Extreme. Not sure if it was a true 2.5" tyre but not what we see as 2.5" tyres nowadays. They weren't lying though.
 
I've had this Stumpjumper for over 30 years, but can't remember if it's a 1990, 1991, or 1992 model.

Can anyone help me identify the model year? It's still all original, aside from the seat and grips. (I don't recall if I replaced the seat post or not.)
