Who is this cool little fella on my new blue GT RTS rocker link? Who makes this part?

Howdy,

I'm picking up an RTS3 on Saturday and was doing some looking around on youtube and found this video which has this rocker link. The person who published the video refereed to it as a, "Similes long travel suspension mod" in the video and , "smilies rocker kit" in the comments. I can't find anything about it but thought I'd share.

for people reading this thread, i talked with someone from gt who tested the rts pre-production (living in socal has its upsides). He said that it is a long travel link that turns the rts into a competent full suspension frame. He also said that it was an aftermarket but GT-endorsed product, that maybe gt or gt dealers sold. The guy in that video commented that he made the link.

I'd be interested in the dimensions to see how it compares with the standard one. If it improves the RTS (and imo it's already a great bike from bitd), then maybe something worth trying to replicate.

ill get some measurements when i get a sec. i might sell mine but its kind of hard for me to sell something so unique, still feeling regretful about selling my judy dho (was w/o crowns and they are impossible to find)

I'd be interested if you do, it will be going to a good home, my RTS which is my keeper/forever bike.

Regret selling many a thing, worst probably a set of lawwill leader 3 forks that I'd had serviced by Meet Lawwill himself, but didn't ever use. Judy FSX which I'd converted to air with a no's set of Englund air cartridges. A no's set of noleen crosslink forks. That's just in the fork category. Lots of regret, but also lots of happy people with bits they covet on their own bikes.

I would also be interested in the dimensions.

will get you guys those dimensions soon. just curious what would be the offer for it? I dont know if ill ever use it because its only compatable with the NR2 inline with the fixed pivot vs the NR3 with the pigglyback and spherical eyelet

i sold my DHO to SRP with the idea that it would be parted out to fix other dho's so its not like i threw it out, bought it for $5 and sold it for $300 store credit

I've no clue what to offer money wise, but can offer it a very good home. It would either go on my keeper team rts, which has a number of blue bits so it would tie in nicely and persuade me to fit the risse shock I have on that. Or it would find a home on my other us built RTS. It might actually be more in keeping with this build as it's going to be a full resto mod. I've had the rear end properly converted to disc only, and also the rear pivots converted to take bearings instead of bushings. Modifying the travel would be in keeping with the theme of making the bike better than it was originally. I also have some blue hope brakes that would tie in nicely (once they've been to hope for a service).

Drop me a pm if you have a price in mind or if you are after any parts as I've a healthy stash of most things retro and modern, and I'm a big RTS fan.
