Which pump?

Does a CO2 cartridge get a fat tyre right up to pressure, or do ye have to do some old-fashioned pumpage as well?

I bought a Lezyne last year. Nicely made, bit pricey but damn effective. I went for the 'floor' type with a fold out foot to make a mini track pump, its brilliant. Bulkier than normal, but i'm not bothered ;)

See I have to be completely honest the bike tart in me likes that, and I'm very very tempted, just not sure about the size, how big is it or there abouts?.

I could go the CO2 route but cartridges cost money that I dont want to have to spend constantly would rather have a good old trusty pump, well I say old I mean new and shiny and pretty lol

CO2 cartridges are £1 a pop . . just about...

Think I'm going CO2.. manual pumps cause me pain..

But that Lezyne one does look luvverly. . .

I'm going to get one of these soon to use on the bike

but I've had the same small blackburn for something like 8 years now , just works faultlessly and is easily stripped to clean . I've had to use so many pumps over the years that are poor quality . I'd use the blackburn on the bike but I'd be gutted if I lost it

I bought one of these from Ribble. I sent it back and they gave me a refund.

I currently have a Planet x version. CO2 part works fine, but it takes forever if you use the pump part. Small and light though. If I'm out for a longer leisurely ride I'll take a larger pump, very similart to the Toppeak one that is like a mini track pump.

Ive got a topeak mini blaster......excellent bit of kit.

Fits both valves, has a gauge that works and goes up to over120psi for the road bike......about £15-£20 quid :D

Zefal HP-X in size 1. £20 approx. I've got 3 in 3 different lengths, had 2 of them for maybe 15 yrs. Fantastic, bulletproof (metal) frame-fit pump that works better than 2 track pumps I've owned.
10/10 from me.
