which part has impressed you most over the years?

The M737 shifters/levers

I still remember when I tried them the first time in '94. The shifting was superior to anything back then, even the M900. However the brakes were even more impressive. Fantastic power and they also had great feel.

Rohloff Speedhub.

No more misshifting, ever. No more elaborate cleaning excercises. Always works.

Without a doubt, splined, hollow axle BB setups, such an improvement ovr square taper! Secondly, the set of yellow magura raceline hs33's that î bought new about 12years ago. They've never needed bleeding!

The original Marzocchi Bomber Z1 forks. Revolutionised the concept of MTB suspension, and most remarkably, a large number of them are still going strong over 15 years since their introduction.

+1 for lock on grips....how much time do they save ?!....means jobs that may get put off  get dealt with immediately :D

Flite Ti and Panaracer Dart... Been on on all my bikes over the years and I'm still running them on my modern Trek Fuel EX, as well as most of my retro's
