Seem to remember these pink alloy frames were the top dogs in the MF line up back in the day. Alu Pro or summat like that?
Back when MF still made proper mountain bikes.

This one's on the bay at the mo.

Might have a punt me self if it stays silly cheap.

Couldn't remember the name, I could just remember the addy in MBUK and thinking I'd have loved one if it wasn't for the colour.

Could do with a more sympathetic fork, couldn't it. :D

That's an 1989 Alu Pro...I have the catelogue ready to scan...yep, when MF made a decent bike, what happened after 1989 is anyone's guess, urm, no offence to those of you who have 1990 MF's onwards...er...*hides*

Have the 1989 catelogue scanned in the Scans Section...enjoy!

Urm, here's the Pink beast in all its glory! :)

Haven't been on here for a while, but a couple of weeks ago I passed a guy on his muddy fox courier on my way to work.

It was one of the original courier frames with the thin tubes & lugged joints. Whtie with the original small yellow decals. Brought back some good memories and made me think of you guy's!! Sorry no photo. I think it was circa 1990. Not sure what groupset it had on it - not the original one I hope.

I'm pretty certain it was 1990 as I had a Courier from the following year, the one with the front of the frame (headtube and first 1/3rd of toptube and down tube oversprayed in purple. It was a 21.5" as my parents wanted me to "grow into it". The 19" Specialised I have now is still slightly too big for me - what where they thinking, god bless them.

Take it easy all !!

Heh heh,

21.5", now that's big..I seem to remember alot of my friends at school going along the same lines, no wonder they all spoke in high pitched voices!
