He sent me a Look Quadrex frame forks set karma! (@WimVDD has it now) And even paid postage. Always helpful and nice to me but then again I was never involved nor really looked at much of the other stuff going on. Ah well

I disagreed with him once or twice. If I remember correctly, he was saying that a bike owned by a woman would probably be poorly cared for. On the other hand, I also remember him being very kind and supportive to another member. People are complicated...
