my wife loves her Independent Fabrications "Special", has women specific geometry; rides great, and looks awesome. Her's is a 96/97.

I built up a tiny Zaskar for my wife. Bit of overkill maybee, but I was adamant that anything heavt with ropey gear change and duff brakes would put her off quicker than anything. She now rides more than I ever imagined and enjoying it, so the expense of a custom build around a Zaskar was more than worth it.

There are a couple of Moots Ti frames in 14.5" on ebay at the moment. Pricey but hey, its Moots. £1,300 each iirc, choice of Rigor or YBB (ex racer).
