What did I buy?? another GT frame id

Retro Newbie
So I finally got around to buying a replacement frame for my rusty '95 Timberline. Got this off ebay for £42 + delivery.

Early 90's GT Team Avalanche, 7005 polished AL. Some components included.

Any GT experts out there care to tell me what year it is? Early 90's the description said, but I would like to know year for specs.

I'm In the process of swapping the frames over and may need some new components too.

Serial no. in last pic shows K 01008, 1991 perhaps? It's 7005 Alu, perhaps was painted, but doesn't show signs of it. Decals look legit too.

It might not even be an Avalanche!! Any ideas?

Q. Is the seatpost clamp and headset removable on this frame?

Any offers on a slightly rusty 18" Timberline (iced titanium) frame, let me know.

Cheers.

Great news, thank you. Not so 'early' then!
I found the '97 GT catalogue on here today and although my German isn't great it correctly lists this Avalanche frame, with '7000er doppelt konifiziertes' Alu, same colourway decals too. Clamp (easy) and headset cups (flathead+mallet+force) both off now thanks.

Do you know what the deal is with the Team \ All Terra logos? I may remove some of them if it's easy'ish.

Any tips on taking them off? I have autosol and a hand polisher/ buffer at the ready!

Wow, thanks! very interesting. I found my old GT stuff today and there were 3x GT UK 1998 catalogues in there. parts & accessories, bmx and mtb.

I'm also looking for a new GT branded QR 31.8mm alloy seatpost clamp in black, anyone have one or know where I can get new old stock GT parts?
Preferably in the UK.
