New idea for a project for some ones Christmas present, whats the coolest looking ladies frame available without too much trouble?

Mainly for road use but in a fairly hilly area. So thinking gears of some description, even if only a sturmly archer or nexus hub.

Any ideas?

Are you looking for a road frame - or putting slicks on a mountain bike?

Not sure if it would be considered a ladies frame particularly but my Specialized Rockhopper with eyecatching "slime green" frame always turns heads - I have ridden it on the road with slicks- not rare and not overly expensive. I think mine dates from around 1997/8

I got my mrs a Bubble Gum Pink Avalanche then uprated it a bit .... Still in her good books 10 months on!!!

the step thru yeti FRO. kinda hard to find as they only made 1

Sounds spot on, step through design would probably be preferential, the "only made 1" thing isnt too helpful though. :)

My wife has a nice Rock Lobster 18.5" She's 6' tall though so, in my whisky induced haze (purely medicinal as the kids have passed on another damn cold) I will shut up.

Do I remember a Alpine Stars (T26???) that would suit the shorter rider and be very cool?
