What projects are you working on?

My Pace RC 200 build when the frame turns up!
I have only got these bits so far, should be nice when it's done though!

Sticklegs... that stem needs to be Pace! That is almost as criminal as having 'notpace' forks on a pace frame.

Well......I need to get the XTR front mech and decals on the Fuquay and then she's finished, the Dave Yates I've just bought looks to be pretty useable as is although I've sorted a Salsa stem for it for that retro steel appeal.....next big project for me has to be my elevated stay Alpinestars Cro-Mega that is sitting as a frameset at the back of the shed, determined to use a set of Paul singlespeed wheels I have kicking around so I'll probably go SS :D

As this thread has come back to life in some respects, I'll add my projects to the list....
I've got the following projects on the go although progress is slow - its summer here so I'd rather ride than toil in the shed.

97 Kona King Kahuna: - just waiting for a compression damper to show up so I can finish rebuilding an orange Z1 and then I'll strip the rest of the bike down and build it back up.
93 Klein Attitude: - on the backburner at the moment, slowly collectly some M900 parts to undo the previous owners "upgrades". Mag lowers may also need a bit of a touch up too.
1930s Road Racer: - I have my grandfathers 30s single speed road racer (or his training bike - no one is really sure anymore) which I'd like to restore. My dad and uncle used it in the 60s to ride to school and it gained a coaster hub when my dad dragged it out of a shed again in the early 80s to join me riding as a kid (the wheels on it were stuffed but may be lying in a shed somewhere). The frame, fork, seatpost, cranks, stem and headset are all still original so my current plan is to put some 60s brakes on it and a newish SS wheelset (on older hubs if I can find some) after I've restored the rest as finding some period 30s parts is likely to be difficult.

If I can find time this weekend I'll take some good photos of them and some of my other bits and pieces and post them up. :)

Hi,
I'm new in the oldschool and retro bikes. All starts with dreaming about my first mtb, a MBK rockfighter light ceramic (flite, full stx, 517 sup ceramic, purple stuff, itm stem and handlebar, ...) finally I started to look after oldschool bikes from this period and finally find a jamis explorer xr from 1995 everithing is as the original excepted the stem and a pedal.
What a pleasure to work on this bike.
Take look at this link to view description and pictures : http://www.b-m-b.be/forum/index.php?showtopic=12556
But now new step is trying to find a jamis frame that fit me (19-20") and put all pieces from the explorer xr on it. That's not an easy thing at all...

projects

:!: an orange clockwork , currently just sat outside my office in a frame state, got a lx/dx/xt pile of stuff for it.

:!: Beasty carbon full susser - building a parts pile to suit

:!: Trimble , supposed to be on its way  but will have to have a similar paint job to jez's now I have seen what kris can do, got a pile of 1" forks to choose from for that but not much else.
