what is this frame?

Any idea what this frame is ?

Bought around 2002, second hand. was told it was a merlin. a copy of the santa cruz cameleon?

Bonus points if you can tell me the age of the rockhopper frame in the background?

That cnc chainstay bridge is identical to my indian fire trail 1995 :shock:

obviously not because of the wishbone.....but it does make you think if it was made in the same factory.....or if the bridges were bought in by different companies :?

Edit or maybe not, cannot see any HT gussets but all other details look the same.

I do like the design of those hinges you have there.

Mum and dad have the same unit (and matching wall unit, table and chairs) - solid pine underneath that paint. All items are dove tailed / dowled / wedged.

That was the games cupboard when we were growing up - and still is, just for the grand children now
