What is the point in fat bikes?

And they come with dodgy Time pedals too!

Was fun on the downhills though!

Mind you the guy who said they corner like they were on rails must really have been riding on rails because they really dont corner that well !

It truly does handle like it's on rails, drop the pressure down to 8 psi, point and shoot and just glide through and not really need to worry if you have picked a bad line or not. All the extra surface area helps in that regard. And all the while ear-to-ear grinning. Will I give up my other rigs? No, but it definitely has a place in the quiver for sure. It pins stuff that my other bikes would have me jostling through.

My Shimano rubbish shoe plates didn't go in! I actually like Bontrager spd style pedals. They're greeeeeeaaaaaaat !

Re:

What a bunch of boring bastards.

The question I get asked most whilst out on mine is "Why?" My single answer is "Why not?"

I'm not an attention seeking whore just someone that enjoys riding bikes.

I have a modern fat bike designed for trails rather than snow sand so based on that I must own a range rover .....
