What Groupsets Were Around in '93?

Which Shimano groupsets were current in that year? I know it will be XT and XTR, but what were the code numbers M737 and the like? Was it a fine year? I was about three and a half stone lighter, had hair (and lots of it) and an ear ring, but don't recall much about groupsets.
Were Suntour still a force to be reckoned with? Had V brakes and threadless headsets started to show? Were gears still 'man sized' or had compact drive already swept the more visually pleasing full sized stuff under the rug of history?

Thanks in advance!

That covers all the Shimano groups with part numbers. XTR was the only 8-speed mtb group, and hubs were all slim-bodied until 1994 and Parallax. V-brakes came in 1996. Threadless headsets existed, but most production bikes still had quill stems in a variety of diameters.

Suntour and Campag were still in the game, but that didn't last long. XC Pro had gone micro-drive in 1991/2, and Shimano joined the club in 1994.

They were still about, but not much came with them as std.

No V brakes. Aheadset was common in '93.

Suntour had gone microdrive, but Shimano were still man sized. Think Shimano started going micro in '94 when STX appeared.

Suntour XC Pro 8 speed was introduced in 93.
I was imprecise: I should've said that XTR was the only Shimano 8-speed mtb group in '93. Record OR was certainly 8-speed (and compact drive) by then as well.

I remember that Campy O.R. groupset. It was weird.

Thanks from me too. Looks like it will be very useful! (even with my poor German!)
