What can kill the looks of a bike for you?

There are loads of things i dont like on some bikes but the owner obviously does so what does it matter,if people dont like my bikes so what they havnt got to ride them have they.

If there wasnt diversity in tastes on here it would be very boring indeed,sometimes it does seem like if you havnt got the correct everything for your bike that conforms to how it should look then youve had it.

What really kills the look of a bike for me is seeing some c*#! riding off on it after they've nicked it. Only happened once - NEVER AGAIN!! :evil:

just last week was picking some parts up from the lbs, when a guy brought his sons fs dh bike in for a service, i didn't see what it was but when he left, the chap in the back was effin n jeffin all over the place bout how the forks & rear shock were totaly seized up and full of sea salt! :roll:

personally i'd hit the roof if junior did that to a bike, :twisted:

although id also be a bit shocked :shock: .......................

................as he's not 1 yet

Mudguards for sure. It doesn't look cool to me even on a downhill bike. Also, kick stand on MTB looks completely wrong to me.

And, yes, flipped stem with riser bars!
