What can be found during a ride?

Out on my cow horned arena BITD I found a dead tramp in Holywell Dene,
Knew he was a tramp cos he had no money on him!

found

old trolley jack and a black and decker drill. I could not be bothered to take them back but my cousin had the drill over a year ago now, it is still sat in his shed doing nothing!

Heard, then saw, a couple shagging up against a tree one evening when riding through the local park. He saw me but just carried on without breaking his rhythm!

Rode past a film crew and a "couple" shooting a porno once..... Not sure that counts as a "trophy" though!

Who'd have thought it on Marlborough Downs!

We did shout to see if you wanted to join in but you scarpered a bit sharpish!

You can't make your honeymoon movies in peace these days.

You find all sorts up in the hills once the snow is on the melt, but my best 'find' would have to be a tidy sea kayak whilst cycling in Denmark. We reported the find but no one came forward so it was a keeper.

a blackburn pump unfortunately not working but most useful find was a rear mudguard for which I made a bracket and is fitted on the commute mtb.

Weirdest non-cycling find was when we went on school camping trip to Exmoor. We were given map and route and set off. Some way on the route I decided to kick down a dead tree, as you would if you were a teenager  , and close by found a Silva compass with initials DC .... which seemed too much of a coincidence not to be that of one of the teachers (they probably did the route before). So when we reached camp, I asked DC if he had lost his compass, and lol behold he had ..... and then would not believe that I had found it - the proverbial needle in a haystack situation - what are the odds of finding something so small in such a big area??

On a cylce tour we stopped off for lunch and I then walked across a village green to dump litter into a bin, looked down to see what looked like a 4 leafed clover but carried on. On return to bikes, stopped at about the same spot amd found the 4 leafed clover ...... chances of being in exact same spot have to be pretty low so I reckon there must have been a large area of mutant clovers.

Back in the day, the woods is where all p0rn was stored before t'internet.

We found loads... and always put it back where we found it to prevent upsetting the wildlife, obviously.

oh this brings back memories, we used to call them nuddy book hunts, as in "shall we go on a nuddy book hunt today"?

we used to actually think the pages had been fused together due to damp.

oh the innocence of youth

So??????? If it wasn't the damp that "glued" the pages together??????
Anyway!! I'm off on a nuddy book hunt this afternoon, see what I can find???? Will keep you all posted!?!?! :p
