What bike is this - lugged aluminium frame ?

Saw this frame today… being a proper retro bike nerd I keep wondering what on earth this is.
It looks like an aluminium frame, but also like being built from single tubes and joint pieces, with a distinctive seatstay.
Anyone knows what this is?

Looks like an early way to build an aluminium frame. the lugs have plugs were the tubes are bonded to. I am not sure what make this is.

I’ve never seen this on an all aluminium bike - rather with carbon or titanium tubes, which those aren’t. I wonder if the bonding still holds. Otoh it might look great when it’s polished .

Now that you mention it, the seat stay does have a certain Giant vibe to it…

I don't think the extended seat tube lug looks right for a Giant. Doesn't look like an Alan either, but they were also the first two that sprung to mind for me too.

Possibly Hagan/Battaglin/whoever-else-used-that-frame Titanal?

My first thought was that it might be an SR Sakae Litage, but a quick Google suggests it isn't. Still, a slow process of elimination might get you somewhere.

A bit more googling makes me think it might be an Alan or a Hercules titanal frame. They did not have the best reputation longevity wise though. Otoh it still seems to come in one piece.

It's certainly got that Alan/Vitus, late 80's vibe to it. (my first thoughts)
It was probably state of the art tech once upon a time.
