Wanted 1" steerer suspension forks. Almost sorted

RC36 just arrived but have 1 1/8 steerer not as advertised. Kill me now. All bets off so back on the hunt.

Does anybody know what I need to convert these to V brake?

Head tube is 135mm plus headset plus 1 1/8 ahead stem so what, about 200mm steerer length required. Anything considered

Is it a 1" steerer as per title or a 1"1/8th as per description? :facepalm:

Read more carefully. 1" steerer with a 1 1/8 ahead STEM with a shim is the plan. I referenced the stem for steerer length porpoises. Forks need to be 1" steerer. Hope that helps. If not I can draw you a picture. :facepalm:

i've got a 160mm 1inch threaded suntour fork for £25posted if you want to try the threaded route..

I've got a 1" Manitou 1 fork crown. It has a threaded steerer in it at the mo but they are replaceable/changable



...oh and i have some very nice Mani 1s too.
