I have some version of Rock Shox. I shall measure the steerer and get back to you.
Memory serves kinda sticky, so some sort of rebuild is in order.

Quick measurement, even with pulling , tugging and trying to get the most out of it is 183 to 185 at best. Even has a logic head set resting on it. It seems we always come up a bit short when more is needed. If interested let me know and I'll gladly provide some pictures.

Thanks but shying away from rebuilds. I want a good serviceable fork that will hopefully suit the late 90s steel frame. Arrives next week. Do need a threadless 1" headset though.

Just gave it the old push test and it rebounds nicely, think I may have confused it with a Mach 5 I used to have. Let me know if you may want me to send some photos.

Thanks but 185 doesn't leave enough for headset and stem as I'm going 1 1/8 with a shim so reckon 200 minimum.
