Unusual Kona models or colours

Hopefully without sounding like some sort of Imperious Retrobike Police.... the bike pictured is a standard 1998.5 Pahoehoe, and wouldn't be regarded as an unusual model or colour. Perhaps it would be better placed in the "Kona's page" thread in this link:

Mind you..... did you see the unusual 1988/89 Explosif in Black with Yellow and Red Splatter that member BC posted on the "Kona's page" thread?

Blimey and Wow! This is the 2nd colour scheme that differs from the standard 1988/89 Pistachio with Yellow Splatter that I have now seen:

Continuing to wade through my records, I came across a Blue version of the 1997 Koa.

Sadly I don't have very good pictures of this 16" example, which seems fairy close to the colour of the Kilauea that year.

That haole is quite nice. I assume that's not the stock fork ? Or am I wrong

The fork listed in the 1994 Kona U.S. Catalogue is the Kona Shark Heat Treated Cromoly:

Speaking of the gorgeous 1997 Kilauea SE above..... the Kilauea in particular came in alternative colours through the 90's.

The 1993 U.S. Catalogue differed from the European release, with solid colours across all models, rather than the fade to Metallic Silver / Grey at the front half of the frame. The Kilauea in the 1993 U.S. catalogue was solid Porsche Red:

I think this Yellow 1995 European (Spanish?) example was posted by Canuck, which was an alternative to the Catalogue listed Pearl White that year:

While the Explosif also came in Yellow in 1996, as an alternative to the more usual Olive Green - again I have it documented as Spanish, but I'm not entirely sure why:

The green Kilauea is a 1993 1/2 Model. There were three models:

-Fire Mountain in 'Titanium'
-Lava Dome in 'Hot Rod Purple Metallic'
-Kilauea in 'Hot Rod Green Metallic'
