Ukraine and the wisdom of the RB crowd

Seems like there is too much at stake for any party (despite being so close to a bloody flash point), and my
guess is a long drawn out stalemate with no win-win situation appearing in any form soon. I'm not sure
the USA as the tact to make the situation better, but would rather capitalise on it for some heavy weight
pushing and shoving with Russia like the old days. If the economic situation declines in Ukraine I could
foresee cival unrest on the horizon and then who knows how that whirlwind would escalate, so I think there
is a point to keep money flowing with Europe, Ukraine and Russia. I can't see a "sanctions" tit for tat
being any good, there's sufficient proof it's normal everyday people who suffer rather than leaders
who happily cope and don't seem to miss lifes little luxuries.

A possible way out without anyone losing face would be a change in statestructuren in Ukraine. The form where the one parliament which there's now will be changed in a double structure, one choosen via one (wo)man, one vote, the other via a regional system whereby a certain amount of regions can block unwanted legislature which would harm their regional or ethnic interests (like language laws). The Ukrainian nationalists would never accept losing territory, a statestructure with some clear guarantees for the Russian speaking minority (and especially Crimea) would give Putin a way out while still keeping up with his image of the champion of Russian rights. Crimea allready has a high status within Ukraine as an autonomous republic.
Going back to the historic field. One of the most voiceful countries now is Poland. Interesting is that they still celebrate Marshall Pilsudski as a national hero. And guess what he did?
