Top of the range lightweight 7 speed freewheel

A Campagnolo freewheel, made from aluminium, weight around 220 gr.
Some cogs are drilled for weight reduction.

And they look like this...
I got mine on a Ringle hub.

Almost! it's a 23, but i'm gonna change it to a 27...

Aluminium is also not the best solution for mud and sand.....but it's light and looks so nice....

Another mentioning of Suntour, not a weight weenie but solidly built. The top line winner pro does show up from time to time in the bay. Biggest sprocket up to 32 teeth.

Thanks guys, I do like the campag, is that the Campagnolo record?
And would it be Shimano XT 7 spd compatible?

It's a Campagnolo Super Record, there are a lot of them on E-bay, but for a lot of money. Last week one sold for $ 78,-, but i think the biggest cog was only 21 or 23....

Compatibility with Shimano i'm not sure about, i build it up with Gripshift and Suntour XC Pro, but i'm still building the bike so not really did some riding....

Good luck!

I've got sachs maillard aluminum made freewheel. Very lightweight but 24 teeth biggest cog and only 6 speeds…

Which shiftwrs the Maillaird being used with?
hows it do?
I think 6 is slightly less for an MTB for me, even with triple rings.
I think 7 is perfect closely followed by 8 as I find 9 and especially 10 overkill, that's just my personal preference.
But the Maillard looks good!
