Top Gear finally gets its comeuppance

One of the more distasteful aspects of Clarkson's persona is his fawning over the women that he interviews. Quite pathetic.

And in the light of recent events, look where it's (allegedly) got him. In the style of a TG "Stig" intro:

"Some say that my wife's chucked me out of the house. And that Jemima Khan should have gone to SpecSavers. All we know is....it's called a superinjunction!"

And on that bombshell....

Not sure whether what I'm feeling is just pure, unadulterated (!!) schadenfreude, or whether I think he's the anti-Earl-Hickey.

Definitely the former for me. Sounds as though he's been whinging a lot about moving house in one of those newspaper columns in which he acts as a sock-puppet for Rupert Murdoch, and is apparently too clueless to work any of the domestic appliances. A far cry from the usual diet of outrageous, un-PC opinions he spouts in the aforementioned columns every week to a strict deadline, for money....almost as if they weren't real (with apologies to Stewart Lee).

Much what I thought meself. Keeps telling half of the motor industry how it should be doing its job, yet he can't even work the washing machine! :roll:
