Very true. I usually run swifts and B17s which capitulate fairly quickly, but this one is a thick beast and taking its sweet time. (despite all my tough talk, I may swap it for a B68 or 72).

Couldn't get on with the swift, B17 I love, not the narrow though. I find the Pro a good saddle that takes at least twice the break in. Persevere mate, it will turn out fine

Had planned to cycle to Hownsgill Viaduct and back today which would be a bit over 100km round trip, however lastnight I ended up going and running a 5k out of pure spite which did a bit of a number on my legs having not really ran since school PE lessons so bottled it Just kept it localish, ended up around 66km with 468m elevation.

Wouldn't think this picture was England in January

Muddy loop of villages in and around Bedford today - nicer place than expected!

Despite disc brakes and decent tyre clearance it was so sticky I had to have several stops to remove the crud each time it brought me to a stand still.


Washed off the bits of Bedfordshire that came home with me.
