Today's Ride

Freezing cold, dark and foggy today. Importantly though, it wasn't pissing it down with rain. That means time to get on the bike!

Had a little more time than usual so I managed about 35 miles down towards Cheddar and back, mostly on the strawberry line. Nice route, although it could have done with a big hill somewhere to spice things up a bit - will plan a better circuit for next time

Managed to get a good shot for the pylon enthusiasts 👌

Same view as yesterday's post but significantly colder and grayer.

Quick spin to test going from a 60mm 6deg stem to 100mm 8deg. May not have been obvious from earlier posts due to the saddle bag but I was definitely clamped down way beyond the stop marks on the saddle rails and figured it was about time I sorted it. Was about 30mm ahead of the stop mark so figured 100mm stem would give enough wiggle room. Overall very pleased, feels like I spent more time than normal seated instead of standing, may need some more tuning preferably with a 2 bolt seat post but we'll see how I feel after a longer distance tomorrow :)
