Today's Ride

We had some pretty good rain here in LA the past 2-3 days, softened things up a bit.

Steady couple of hours riding today locally. Took the analog bike out to balance things out haha. Surprisingly dry with all the rain we've been having. Love the colours at the moment, it's a shame the phone and my photography skills cant show it.....

In the morning. Heading to the forest. Followed by a nice winding uphill section to the top, about 500ms of elevation on good forest roads.

Met on the way up some nice people, guided them down on trails. Crazy ride, everybody enjoyed it. Steep and rocky parts occured...Could have been used some eyeball stabilisers, they were bouncing like hell..

Remembrance Day ride up onto the local moor organised by a nearby cafe to raise funds for the royal British legion.

About 40-50 bikes up there. Mine was the only retro

This trail starts just two minutes away from my place

Not used by bikers, only motocross trail, i guess i'm the only biker on this one.
Heading down to the upper entrance of a small canyon, such a special atmosphere here.

Some riding in the dry riverbed, it was never possible previously.


Continued with various but very demanding mtb riding. Two hills and great downhill sections..



Got home after sunset.
Wet leaves on singletrack sections in the bushes were very slippery, riding was real fun.

Cracking Saturday morning ride with a mate. No particular distance covered, instead we shredded round local spots from our youth. Very nostalgic, and loads of fun hitting jumps and skidding in the leaves.

Today was the kind of ride where your underwear is already filled with rainwater before you've left the road end. Ah well, once you hit that point you can't get much wetter.
