Cake disappeared too quickly on this one for me to remember to take a photo of it!

Apologies for the mudguard fitment, they really bug me, also the large/large chain action. It’s my default setting when riding up to stuff I’m going to stop at, think I’m too used to the 1x on my other bike.

It was Sheffield marathon today.. they run past our house before heading out towards the Peak District so i got out of dodge early
Rode up Whitley Wood Road towards Ringinglow



Had a blast around Burbage.. the cloud cover in the valley was incredible, even through this vintage iphone4








Rode down the crazy hill from Burbage into Hathersage.. this is the hill i was warning you about @Guinessisgoodforyou i know it like the back of my hand so ride it brakeless.. the camber after the corners likes to drag you into the edge.. at which point it's often too late to dab brakes



i'm now under the clouds.. rode from Hathersage to Hope, turned onto the Edale road at the Adventure Cafe

few laps of a local park, foliage thinning out lead to spotting a massive blur of colour which turned out to be a legal graff wall, pretty cool.

Cool 12 degrees, felt like 10, lower in the dips. Lighter 10-12mph E breeze. Mostly clear skies, and a fabulous sunrise, with salmon pink clouds turning golden orange as the giant satsuma rose. It doesn't get much better
