Managed to check out a bit of the new Clevedon to WSM cycle path today in my lunchtime blast down the lanes - super windy again, but the sun came out by the time I got to the sea (mud)

ok, so not today's pics but pics of the past few days. I was fortunate enough to spend riding time with my daughters and also one of my friend.
my little girl on her retro Specialized Rockhopper during a 12kms ride
she was very happy after finalizing the 'big' climb
actually she was really happy and enjoyed the ride
next a few more (38 ) kms with my big girl. I mostly saw her back, she is very fast!
...but I know the trails and the shortcuts, so managed to surprise her!

another ride, this time my bigger daughter accompanied us. the ride was announced as a road ride. naturally it turned off-road at the nearest possible turn.
I think I am great at taking photos while on the bike
...and my bike. being honest, I was thinking of selling it before this week, but now I know that it would be a mistake since it's great!

Went for a ride today. It was such a strong wind down here. Like a knob i rode the circuit the way around that had the most miles into the feckin' wind! . Arm warmers and overshoes again!

this is from tuesday, i just only now got around to getting the pictures off of my phone
context, the local expressway was shut down due to a massive natural gas leak
and then someone in a truck too tall hit the bridge i took the first picture from, hence the police on the other side, so that made traffic even worse
theres a second highway to the north but its two lane
basically all the traffic in the area got routed into either a minor highway, a closed highway, or through the towns streets, it was standstill traffic literally from my front door all the way out in every direction, so i rode my bike to work and was the most smug person alive the entire time
their commute (from the railroad access road on the bridge the truck hit)
(the cops were yelling at me to get down from there, id like to see them make me)
