Today's Ride

Chilly NWN 12-15mph breeze meant long sleeves this morning. 12-14 degrees, warming a bit by the end. Wall to wall blue skies and glorious sunshine. Magic on the moors, not a soul to be seen with just the wind, pheasants, finches and the distant rumbling of the sea to keep me company. Lovely stuff!

Almost caught the sunset yesterday on the mountain above the city in just over 2hrs, with 32,5 km of gravel and 920 m alt...

Managed to check out a bit of the new Clevedon to WSM cycle path today in my lunchtime blast down the lanes - super windy again, but the sun came out by the time I got to the sea (mud)

ok, so not today's pics but pics of the past few days. I was fortunate enough to spend riding time with my daughters and also one of my friend.

my little girl on her retro Specialized Rockhopper during a 12kms ride

she was very happy after finalizing the 'big' climb actually she was really happy and enjoyed the ride

next a few more (38 ) kms with my big girl. I mostly saw her back, she is very fast!

...but I know the trails and the shortcuts, so managed to surprise her!

another ride, this time my bigger daughter accompanied us. the ride was announced as a road ride. naturally it turned off-road at the nearest possible turn.

I think I am great at taking photos while on the bike

...and my bike. being honest, I was thinking of selling it before this week, but now I know that it would be a mistake since it's great!

Went for a ride today. It was such a strong wind down here. Like a knob i rode the circuit the way around that had the most miles into the feckin' wind! . Arm warmers and overshoes again!

Reminds me of my school's cross-country running course, which was definitely uphill the whole way round.
