Took a nice ride out to Mount Franklin as my girlfriend had not been up it, she also wanted to see the emus so this time, we stopped

Once at the top, the views are not anything stunning, just trees

The hardest thing about the ride were those pesky skiing kangaroos !!!

We had one last stop as it was raining, but it was 30 degrees !!!

Then back to the house for an Aussie bbq, and as we are in a fire ban, this is an electric bbq !!!

Boy those Emus are big! Seems strange there are no views from a mountaintop :? Today-Monday-An early ride to SF Bay and back-started out chilly at 54 F.-now back home writing this and it's going up over 60 F. and the sun has come out...

Emus are smaller than ostriches, they do look big though

As for the lack of the view, the road does not take you all the way to the top, and as there is nowhere to leave the bike, we just follow the road

Today-Wednesday-beautiful warm day in the 70's F. -Started out up the Mountain with Charlie Kelly and we ran into 3 more of our friends once we got up about 1000' or so...

Today-Saturday-Feels like Summer around here, 76 F. at 11 AM when we left-got up to 82 F. by 4 PM yesterday, probably the same today. We rode up to the West about 1000' today-really beautiful out...
