Today's Ride

Some Monday early eve klunkateering, did some extra botch rear disc botch converter tinkering for extra botch gusseting as it’s clearly not designed for the sit down full lock punishment I ve been giving it on the steeps and was lurching over…. It seems to have worked tho … quick dusk stop with some appropriate klunk junk nibbles and slurps… getting to know the bike a bit more and the current rendition with the better rack might stay, the only thing I can think of is maybe a set of maguras for any klunk trekking as the rear wheel is currently going to be pure hell to remove for a puncture in transit with the disc converter… but otherwise top fun

You must have been here @Frankenorange

I have been up and down the trailway a couple of times and stopped at the station a few times. It looks much more orderly there now compared to 20 years ago and glad it is extending.

Two "storms" later, and this morning the wind dropped to a reasonable level. Time to swap the trainers for Looks. Mild 7 degrees, 14-16 mph SW wind, very damp roads. Thick sea air, hazy thick high cloud. The first signs of an earlier sunrise are coming. Come on spring, you can do it!

That be the moon peaking through. Proper eerie. Love it! Hats off to night mode on the phone camera making it look 100% brighter than it was 🤣

Check it out @Mrs GIGFY .
Any interior shots?

Went out this morning after a long long break - July. Bit sore now. Typing this as I wolf down my overdue breakfast.

Laid in bed considering another lie-in or the sensible option. I went with the latter. Glad I did. Dog was upset though.

Just over an hour. About 8 miles - zero fitness. Loop along two rivers, gravel and plenty of mud.
