afternoon pootle around one of the local woods, didnt do my normal 23 mile route and went exploring, found a new trail, happy times

daisy joined me this evening for a local steady ride. First time she's ridden for a while and did quite well, gave her my old garmin sk she can watch speed and distance. Not the best way to encourage the sprog to ride but hey, if not worked haha.

After strong winds and a lot of rain during the week, there was some brighter weather this weekend, so I made the most of it. Still pretty breezy in built-up areas, over the farm land strong gusts whipped across the fields and made the first dozen miles or so of yesterday afternoon's ride a bit of a slog. But the wind was at my back along the seafront and, later on, the woods provided some calm.




Today's ride was a quick, early evening riverside blast at the end of a lovely spring day. It was mild enough for shorts even at 7.00 pm.
