Rain, rain, rain all morning and then a glimmer of sunshine around 3pm so I ventured out on the roadie for a bit of tarmac and gravel. There were big thunderclouds in the distance but managed 90 minutes completely dry which was lucky.
It's autumn proper here now so it was good to grab a few miles while I could.
Bob has not seen the tarmac since last year so a quick spin with the minions seemed like a good idea .
Bright sunshine but chilly in the shade . All in all , bearable....
Nice loop from home, via Ringwood, Moors Valley Country Park and Cranborne. 40 miles - I am really not used to that mileage, the last climb back out of the Avon valley to home was hard.
First ride with loop bars - I really like them.
(On the downs near Cranborne.)
Today I rode to my surprise right through a former monastery. Behind the church I could hear a singer preparing for the mass, impressing in that scenery Happy Easter!
