Today's Ride

Another evening ride, but down by the riverside and shorter than yesterday's. The strong winds have died down but it was noticeably cooler too. Despite the fading light, there were still plenty of people about. Plenty of midges too. And sheep enjoying their supper.

Fun fact, I sourced those 94 leggings. They weren't sized correctly and were far too small for my chunky thighs. I knew the whipper-snapper would rock them, and boy, he sure did!

Todays ride just on the thames loop in Marlow

Last weekends forecast looked wall to wall wet. But after a very soggy Saturday morning, it cleared and after a week out of the saddle I needed to get a solid session on the road. So I decided to see how busy St Ives was. I can confirm it was heaving still

I forgot about the double climb out but it's all good. I took in Lelant Downs for the first time which was really nice, to get off the main road, before the joining up at Cripplesease, for Nancledra, big town, Mousehole, Sancreed and home. Lovely stuff.
