Titanium…always been in love with this metal but did you know this ?

Titanium is quite soft, it's only some of the alloys that make it hard.
And if you compare it to the glass cutting boards, chian plates etc it a lot better for the knives.

Ti alloy is a sticky material - I would think it would blunt a nice sharp knife quickly.
I favour timber - it is naturally antiseptic compared to plastic.

Looks like we have 2x olive Wood, 1x walnut 1x beech and 3 plastic boards, as well as oak counter top and glass hob.

Titanium remaining strictly for bicycle frames.

I have wood too (I just looked into the mirror) but gotta admit I prefer the plastic ones as I can just chuck in dishwasher and I can get like 10 for the price of one wooden one

Steel has a higher Rockwell than almost any titanium alloy does.

Steel is plus 50 and up, HC steel (decent knifes that have been tempered correctly) are in the 60/70 range.
Titanium is below 50, some are even below 40.

no it won't blunt your knife. still don't want one though, because titanium is radioactive*.

*this is a joke, although it was said that the large surplus of Russian Titanium was radioactive.
