The Shimano one in question was the M950 the largest 3 cogs were titanium.

i had one of the shimano ones and sold it as i had just won this one.

thanks for the link daniel,so dont last too long in comparision to a steel one
so i think if racing prob only half a season from one maybe a bit less?

still no idea of age though.

The Tioga cassettes got a bad write up from memory. Their shifting couldn't match Shimano when it mattered.
I have one, but have never turned a chain over it in its 10 years of ownership. They were sold off cheap at £28 posted back then!!

My mate uses one on his Amp B3 and has never reported a problem to date, but it was again, brand new and rarely turns a wheel!

I didnt know that I saw the words tioga and titanium remembered that they were ok manufacturer bitd.

Guess I know the reason why I was the only bidder then?

Should have kept the shimamo one then.

May be better off trying it out first before relying on anecdotal info; my ActionTek doesn't have ramps and works just fine...
