What is the most cost effective way to get a 32t replacement for 94bcd impel crankset?

Middleburn (ie BETD) also an option if you can actually find one in stock...

BTW - all of these companies are still making "new" chainrings - 94 BCD is still alive from that POV

If you want to ride retro-ish bikes either get used to being charged a lot cos only 'boutique' specialist manufacturers still support the older formats or get over your ebay hangups. Though I will say most chainrings on ebay are way overpriced also

Just bin it with the rest of your drivetrain and start again, so there isn't another 10 page thread about it where you tell us you found a 5-arm chainring and want to know how to bolt it onto a 4-bolt spider using only 3 bolts.

Remember if you have gone dual setup, you now want it as a top ring, not as a middle ring.
So look for rings for that, the profiles and ramps will be different.
Or just get a non ramped version.

probably gonna struggle to actually obtain a 32T as an 'outer ring' I suspect - does it matter that much?

BTW - retrobiker - just to clear up a point of confusion I noticed in some of your earlier posts:

narrow wide chainrings are ONLY for 1x setups - do NOT get one of these for any setup where you need to actually shift the front!
the whole point of them is to keep the chain nailed on to a single chainring

Pretty much. Rare vintage item is more expensive than widely available modern item shocker.

I suppose its possible you might get Chinese copies on Aliexpress, but I doubt it.
